Business Week #27 - Finishing touches

Making something a public thing makes it more difficult to give up

I'm actually surprised. What is more, my level of surprise rises every week. What I'm surprised with is the fact that I'm still in the game. I'm still developing the app I planned to develop. I started developing, I had several difficult weeks but I'm still progressing. This week is the week when I can celebrate finishing a first milestone - daily goal functionality.

My mind usually prefers the path where I do some things secretly and once they are finished I jump announcing everyone around that the thing is done. It's actually very handy cause it takes whole responsibility for finishing things off me as no-one else knows about it. How convenient it is!

The thing about Consider It Done is that it become a bit more public. It's not that I'm telling everyone, but my surrounding is aware and it puts a little pressure but also motivation on me to actually deliver. How cool is that?!? 😊

I believe this is one of the reasons why in this post I can celebrate finishing a good set of finishing touches of the first milestone making goal detail screen look finally good enough.
