Business Week #53 - New monitor

Spending on something increasing productivity aka income is an investment

I just bought a new monitor. It's LG 27GN880-B - 27" 4K monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate. I planned to purchase a new monitor for months. I've used for a year or so very similar model (the only important difference is the refresh rate of 60Hz) but had to return it when leaving my previous job and in the meantime, I worked on a retro 24" FullHD monitor I have temporarily loaned. I gave myself some time to check if I actually need to purchase a new monitor (the previous model was not the cheapest one) and to check if there is anything alternative.

I considered alternative LG Ergo models (DualUp and QHD Ergo Dual) as well as Samsung Space. The thing with my workplace is that I have very limited space available to place both laptop and monitor - 85cm of width in total with a window behind the desk 🫣 None of them convinced me enough to be a better alternative to a single 27" monitor with a moving stand.

So, I purchased it yesterday hoping to be delivered in the forthcoming days. I really hope it will increase my productivity 🤞
