Business Week #63 - We are live!

Expectation vs reality - what a (no) surprise!

Exactly 7 weeks ago, in the summary of Week 56 I mentioned a plan for Week 57 to release the first version of the online shop to sell online materials for English teachers. Fast forward to Week 63 and I can finally announce that the first version of the online shop is live!

It's a clear example of how a task that looks simple from an overview may occur to be multi-level and complex once started. I should mention that it's day as usual in IT. I think I will never get used to it 🤷‍♂️

Still, finally, this week was a big moment to connect all the puzzles that were prepared in the last couple of weeks to release the first shopping carts and link them from the basic shop website. To be honest I should admit that it looks better than I expected! What is more, due to the nice onboarding offer for startups in Stripe, the initial cost of payments will be much lower than I expected which actually gives a nice boost in our launch phase.

So, we are live, time to start selling like a pro!
