Business Week 66 - An auction

It's ok to cross reasonable borders, it's dangerous to cross emotional ones...

It was the first time I was a participant in the flat auction. What's not surprising, due to the clean nature of the flat and attractive initial price there were plenty of investors willing to purchase it. We went prepared setting the initial and the emotional borders upfront.

Due to the huge number of participants, it took a lot of time before the initial formal stuff was performed and the auction started. It lasted about 10 minutes but it was very emotional even if I did not have a single opportunity to bid. Both borders were quickly crossed and we silently observed the whole auction. The final price was 17% higher than the reasonable one - with many investors having different goals it was kinda obvious.

It was a good experience after all. Sure, we failed to buy the flat, but we also failed to buy it when the price was too high which is good. Next auctions will happen, we just need to stay patient 😇

I should also mention that finally we completed the verification done by the payment provider in our online shop and we are good to sell 💪

Time spent: 240 minutes (100%)
