Is an oral contract a signed contract?

Last week focused on two main topics from the business side of my life - the future of the secret project Strings and purchasing of the office flat.

We've finally met in person with one of the co-founders to discuss the next steps and a roadmap of Strings - it was a good meeting, although without super specific outcomes, but confirming that we should stick to the direction we're heading. I feel that the biggest challenge for us is to define the real MVP which is good enough, not perfect. That's actually tough as we both have issues with perfection 🫣

Also, I had a good phone call with a person considering selling a flat I would use for my office. Although he is not ready yet to sell the flat, he promised to let me know once he is ready. I was the first one to contact him and I am promised to be the first one to purchase. Should I consider an oral deal as a done deal? Well, I'd say that we're done with 95%. Not bad, right?
