Life Week #100 - Looking back
- Stay the course! Full steam ahead!
- Ay Captain!
Looking back two years back I would find myself much more stressed and frustrated. It's not that something great or unexpected happened during the last 100 weeks. I feel that my mindset started a conversion towards gratefulness, acceptance of reality, finding happiness in daily life, and courage to do things I put on hold for years or decades.
Life is a journey with many corners. You don't know most of the road, sometimes you even don't know what to expect right after the next corner. It's important to stay positive, stay focused but also be ready to embrace the change and accept what the future brings.
Did I accomplish anything significant during the last one hundred weeks? I am not sure. Me, my relationship, my family, my health, my finances, my ambitions - they all still struggle with some issues, but they are not in the same place as two years ago. Progress is smaller but visible.
You know, if you push the snow with a wider shovel you gather more snow but it costs more energy and slows you down. It's pretty much the same with me - I don't want to leave any snow behind which means slowly pushing forward. Maybe too slowly to see a significant effect, but in many areas at the same time which is great and somehow works with my polimat brain.
What can I write at the edge of the next 100 weeks? Stay the course! Full steam ahead!
