Life Week #101 - Holiday spirit

Every trip has its beginning and the end - let's hope both are happy

The first holidays of 2024 are starting tomorrow. We are heading to Rome - a city we never visited before. We are planning to spend there 5 active days sightseeing, walking, eating, relaxing and - first of all - spending time together. We are traveling alone with my wife this time leaving the children at home. They will have the opportunity to rest from us, we will have the same chance.

At the very beginning I was not fascinated and confident about this trip but the closer the happier I am. We also took some time to watch a lot of videos on YT with tips & recaps from Rome. On the one hand, it tears us from the surprise, on the other - we know much more about Rome itself before the trip.

This is also the week to spend some time with myself planning the dev future - I have a bunch of ideas in my head however I am unsure which way to go. Maybe I'll find some sights in the eternal city.
