Life Week #113 - 5am-ish?
"Wake up" sounds so nice and is so painful...
Wake up at 5 am so you have the bonus time to focus on your obsessions and personal progress and at the same time sleep enough so your body regenerates well. Do you notice the conflict between those two?
Well, initially everything seems fine. You might as well go to sleep at 9 pm, sleep 8 hours, and wake up at 5 am. I can imagine that this can work for someone single or has no children at home or the children are pretty young and they go to sleep early as you. But what if you have teenagers that typically go to sleep between 10 pm-12 am and you still wanna have some bits of so-called "partner life"?
Some time ago I already said to myself that I should stop dreaming of the side hustles until my children are the grown-ups and I regain a lot of afternoon time. Now, as the situation on the market has slightly changed and there are not that many job offers on the market for my skillset I am seriously considering pushing for side projects to increase my visibility on the market. And that leads to the conflict I mentioned earlier on.
Not sure how to solve it, but for now I am pushing myself to try to wake up earlier and push. I'll report my progress next week.
