Life Week #118 - Personal best
I love great comebacks, especially my own ones
I love great stories, I adore amazing comebacks. After a really tough week, my frustration reached its peak on Saturday morning when I caught myself staring at the laptop without any progress in the dev library I was working on on the first comfortable morning this week.
My frustration lasted for the whole morning before I changed my mindset, did the Saturday stuff
and suddenly I was able to do the little steps forward. Suddenly, all the barriers were gone and I could fully focus. This is so weird! 🫠
Today, I started the day trying to complete my monthly goal of reaching a 15km running training. To my surprise, it went pretty smoothly keeping in mind the fact that the last time I reached that distance was like 8 months ago. What is more, once I came back home I realized that I reached my personal best distance of the run without any slowdown walk 💪 - 12+ km without any stop, without any drink, snack, or energetic gel in definitely too warm conditions.
I love that great result. Based on that positive energy I completed my dev library project and released the first version to the public 🎉 That not only completes my second monthly goal on the same day but also clears my mind before starting a new project. What is super important here is that I did not abandon the project but completed it before moving forward.
Yes, that's definitely one of the days to remember!
