Life Week #32 - Winners & losers

A career end for the career start - when reasonable decisions happen

Last week was really intense with lots of things happening around my health (two Holter 24h measurement sessions) and my sons wrestling career (3 visits to doctors before he was granted to become professional sportsman). All the preparations had deadlines on the weekend - I was participating half-marathon on Sunday while my son was participating wrestling tournament on Saturday.

So, once all the permissions were granted my son joined his first wrestling tournament and... actually won all fights in his category 🎉 It was super exciting, but also super tiring experience. However it proves that all the trainings made him very strong man as he competed with others with comparable height and weight and won not thanks to the technique but thanks to his strength. Technique will come bit later, he is practicing for 8 months only but already looking strong 💪

On Sunday I was meant to start in my yearly half-marathon happening on the streets of 3 Silesia Cities - Katowice, Siemianiowice Śląskie and Chorzów. I can't say I was well prepared for this start, however I felt that it's still achievable. Still, due to the recent health issues I decided not to start before consulting my recent Holder measurements with cardiologist. You know, it was my another reasonable decision in my live without a spark of risk... Eh 🥺

Sometimes I'm wondering whether for my whole life I'm reasonable for myself or for the others that ask me to be that kind of person...
