Life Week #69 - I-need-holidays factor tweaks
Love, luck, leisure, lazyness - L seems to be very important letter in the alphabet
After super stressful and exhausting weeks of work, I finally started the 7-day holiday on Tuesday. In the past, I already introduced the concept of the I-need-holidays factor to measure the level of tiredness. It is represented by the number describing the number of days needed to fully relax and enjoy the holidays.
To my surprise, my INH factor was pretty low, Iād say it was roughly 2. In a normal situation, it means that I can relax during a casual weekend without any work. That made me wonder if the AllInclusive form of holidays is a kinda booster to my relaxation. I am not tired due to packing, traveling, organizing local entertainment, shopping, cooking, and sightseeing - is this the booster? I believe it may be!
On the other hand - if my current factor is 2 I shall be able to purely relax during casual weekends and this is not the case usually. That also makes me wonder if a casual weekend is a relaxing time. I start to doubt that - shopping, home improvements & fixes, visiting family & living their lives without a space for spending time alone - this sounds like a negative booster to INH factor in my case.
Holiday time is a good reminder of the good times without that much work and stress. Lack of multiple daily duties can significantly improve mental health and is a clear reminder that the brain needs to chill from time to time.
Starting with lazy Sundays. This sounds like a good goal for the forthcoming colder months of autumn and winter with less sun, daytime and natural space for relaxation.
