Life Week #93 - Winter break
Snow is falling, all around me...
The weather can be one of the unexpected factors when planning anything. The snowfall, that happened in the last 3 days had a huge impact on my running plans kinda blocking it due to the lack of conditions to do it. It's something that needs to be accepted. I tried winter running in a gym once, a couple of years ago, but it's not something for me. I prefer freedom, fresh air, change of routes, and lack of people around - something a gym cannot give me.
This is a kinda signal to pause or at least slow down life a bit - cars are running slow on roads, people walk slowly on pavements, day is heading towards the shortest of a year - maybe our expectations for weekly plans should also be tailored to the winter time?
