My Week #133 - Broken inside
Don't let your daily struggle cover up your long-term goals
Yet another tiring week. Yet another super tiring week. Yet another super tiring and frustrating week. I am tired of the daily work. Too tired pretty often to find the energy to practice and stay healthy. I definitely see the bad impact of the stress level on my physical condition. I feel fat, I feel weak. Sure, the apartment finishing is progressing, but it is difficult to find time for everything. We have 168 hours a week. Sleeping 8 hours a day and working 8 hours a weekday, still leaves us with 72 hours a week for everything else that is important in life - relationships, family, friends, education, business, physical activities, rest, chillout, or even boring daily home duties like shopping or cleaning.
My goal for the next week is to try to understand what happens to the remaining 66 hours. I need to understand how I spend them to see where my time is leaking. We know the concept of budgeting in finances where we track all incomes and expenses to see what's happening with our cashflow. I feel I need exactly the same exercise, but related with time. Time is the only asset we cannot buy or restore. Should we value it more?
Summary
