My Week #172 - Step back to push
Two steps forward, one step back, two steps forward...
Next week passes by and I am still into Flutter. However, I decided to redesign my plan and stop instantly pushing forward with the implementation, and rather take some time to learn the basics. I am going through a course of basics in Flutter explaining some concepts and it lets me dive into the topic more consciously, without blindly looking for online help.
I believe this is a good approach - take your time to understand the basics before moving into the development.
This week I experienced my first temptation - I watched a demo of building native iOS apps using the latest AlexTheSideBar app and Claude 4 and it really impressed me. Next week we have WWDC and it will probably trigger the next set of temptations to go back to native dev. I'll try to accept the news but stay focused on Flutter for this project. Complete the project before starting a new one - that's my motto, that's my plan, that's my goal'.
Other than that, I had a test run midweek due to the World Day of Running, and, the next morning I felt that my knee hurt again. I am not happy with that and I decided to take a longer break without any serious activity hurting this leg to let it cure itself.
That's all folks for now. The best I can do now is to keep my head down and focus on little steps forward 👣
