My Week #213 - Cooldown

Take a break, recharge and push again

After every push, we deserve some cooldown time. We all deserve it. For me, taking time off to relax with Football Manager is my guilty pleasure. I’ve loved this game for over 20 years. There have been long periods when I didn’t play it at all, but from time to time I rediscover that excitement and start a new journey.

I’m also unwinding by focusing on finishing books I started recently. To be precise, I’m in the middle of The Witcher saga. I’m reading it again after about 20 years, and I love it. I love the storyline, the sharp language, the action, and the complete lack of boring moments. It’s better than most of those shitty TV shows served to us nowadays.

I’m also taking a bit of a break from my physical training. This is probably due to feeling mentally tired and needing more time to relax. As I get older, I’m more willing to listen to my body. If I feel tired, I don’t push too much. I’ll push again once I have more energy—hopefully soon :)

In the meantime, I want to use the next few weeks to do some promotional work for my game. I’ve submitted a nomination request on the App Store, but I’ll probably need to promote it elsewhere as well. I’m not sure where yet, but I’ll spend some time figuring that out.
