My Week #223 - Walking week
Let yourself for a bit of inconvenience
Our car is broken, which means we're left with walking, public transportation, and taxis. It really shows how conveniently we live nowadays and where our boundaries actually lie.
This also lets me do things a bit more slowly. I can take time for small pleasures, like coming back to good old Football Manager, reading a book, or both (not at the same time, of course).
I am also slowly progressing with my game. To be honest, this is mostly thanks to vibe codingβin my environment, I have no space for deep focus, especially in the afternoons. It means that all I can really do is vibe code. Thanks to agentic tools, vibe coding has moved to another level and lets me keep moving forward. Sure, there will come a time when quality will matter more and I'll need to dive deep, but for now I'm able to build the second version of gameplay after the initial one was tested and feedback was gathered.
I am also training, but differently compared to my previous approach. I rarely do full training sessions, instead doing exercises that I pick at random. I like it because it lets me practice "accidentally," like when roaming around the house, coming back from the toilet, or walking to the kitchen.
