Life Week #52 - First anniversary
The first anniversary of something is already a success!
The first year of this project has passed by. The first anniversary makes me wonder if this was a good year. If the project I started a year ago actually changed my life? I defining goals for year, month, and week makes it easier to achieve them?
Well, I'd distinguish theory and practice. The theory is very simple and very precise, plan, act, move further. Practice makes some things difficult when your life is not only about your goals and plans. Life usually is a bit more complex, you do not live alone, have family, home, and work and they all impact your plans.
I've already learned this year to plan less optimistic goals and not to become demotivated once too ambitious goals are not met. I am still learning that planning a year, month, or week is a good thing, but I still miss some puzzles.
Firstly, the connection between a month and a week is not perfect - sometimes when planning a week I simply forget to have a look at what I want to achieve this month.
Secondly, the connection between a week and a day is not perfect - usually, I forget to include weekly goals in plans for a specific day and it's easy to forget about it.
Thirdly, the planning of the month, based on a year's goals does not include my engagement in family life, work, and other things.
Yes, there is plenty to be improved, but the glass is not only half empty, it's also half full. Yes, I made some progress this year, I achieved the first levels of some goals so the project is not dead!
Keep up the good work man 💪
