Life Week #64 - The investor
Many options to choose from is the curse of the open-minded person
Let me tell you the story of me - the investor to be. For many years now I am somehow aware of the fact that I should not expect a high pension when I finally am retired. After paying attention to the fundamental needs of a nice living space and fair quality of life it's time to think about investing the surplus for the retirement time.
So I had a clear plan to focus on making money daily and invest the surplus in a passive way, mostly via ETF. This is why I'm running a very comprehensive passive investment course that should help me build the strategy and the plan for the next years to come.
And then, out of the blue, a chance to purchase a flat for the office appeared on the market that can postpone my investment for years now cause buying the flat means that I will focus on paying the mortgage for the next 3-4 years.
What is more, there is an auction for another potentially interesting flat to happen in the next two weeks and... I'm thinking about both flats - the one to play the role of the office, the other to rent (or flip).
That sounds crazy, right? Why my mind is doing it to me? Why is it able to consider all the options and accept drastic changes of the strategy?
